Introducing the Chocolate Suite, a ‘bed and chocolate’ retreat in the heart of Bowen Island's creative centre, Artisan Square. Created by Bowen’s own Cocoa West Chocolatier, the Chocolate Suite offers unique accommodation inspired by our passion for fine organic chocolate.

Guests of the Chocolate Suite will enjoy a private entrance, dining nook, sitting area and a beautifully appointed private bathroom featuring a lush rain-head shower and natural pebble floor. Relaxing and calm, or dramatic and indulgent, adjust the lighting to suit your mood. Savour a selection of Cocoa West’s organic truffles or indulge in an exotic hot chocolate in the privacy of your suite, compliments of Cocoa West.

Of course, beyond the Chocolate Suite there is much to see and do. Artisan Square is a creative village just up the rise from Snug Cove, the historic centre of Bowen. Explore, relax and indulge at the many shops, galleries and services located within steps of the Suite. Enjoy the award-winning service of Cocoa West’s organic chocolate café, the Galley bistro lounge and cinema, a health and beauty spa, wellness and massage services, hair salons, artists' studios, art galleries and shops, a florist, office services, yoga and pilates classes, and a fully-equipped gym. Convenient public transit, or a 15 minute walk, brings you to Snug Cove and more restaurants, shops and galleries, beaches, kayaking and walking trails.

Cocoa West organic chocolate café is unique to Bowen Island, established in 2002 by Chocolatier Joanne Mogridge and her partner CarlosVela-Martinez. Featuring fresh organic truffles made on-site, european-style coffee service, an expansive hot-chocolate menu and award-winning service (2006 Chamber of Commerce Service Award), this Bowen favourite will please the senses and inspire the spirit.
