Our Story

In 2002, I founded Cocoa West Chocolatier with Carlos Vela-Martinez on Bowen Island – a small community not far from the shore of Vancouver, Canada. Here, a small team of Artisan Chocolatiers craft chocolates by hand to create the perfect taste sensation. We fashion each recipe to deliver a little ‘wow’ in a single bite using Certified Organic and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Our diligent sourcing and commitment to certified organic ingredients is unique in the industry.
